Description of project:
The overall objective of the Assignment is to assist the European Investment Bank (EIB) with the activities of the Innovation Fund (IF) PDA for projects including Carbon Capture systems (CCS). More specifically, the objective is to assist with the energy supply review and advise the energy supply strategy in Germany.
Activities undertaken:
Envidatec GmbH was involved as a consulting firm and a subcontractor of NTU International and carried out the following activities:
- Review of the documentation describing the Electricity Production and Export Calculations, provided by the Client.
- Analysis of Current and Future Regulatory Framework with a potential technical, economic or operational impact on the Project.
- Economical and technical evaluation of running the Powerplant in the described system.
- Describing the strategy for injection of electricity in the electricity grid in Germany.

Promoting Social Infrastructure Development – Improvement of Basic Rural Health

Description of project:
Within the framework of the German-Ukrainian cooperation, the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF) and the German Development Bank (KfW) have signed additional Project Agreements to fund the “Improvement of Rural Basic Health Project” (USIF VII).
Activities undertaken:
Envidatec GmbH was involved as a consulting firm - subcontractor of management4health GmbH and carried out the following activities:
- Review of energy audit reports of buildings of health care institutions, done by Ukrainian energy auditors.
- Evaluation of demand baseline and the possible results after the implementation of energy efficiency measures.
- Development and providing training for USIF staff, management and technical staff of health care institutions, and staff of beneficiary communities and local / self-government authorities with respect to the energy efficiency of buildings and spaces as well as the maintenance of infrastructure.

Description of project:
Project of Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) “Expert Advisory to the Promotion of Energy Efficiency Monitoring (EEMon) in Ukrainian Industries” adapt the consultant’s EEMon concepts and systems based on open-source software and standard hardware components to the situation in selected Ukrainian industry sectors.
Activities undertaken:
Envidatec GmbH was involved as a consulting firm and carried out the following activities:
- Include a set of typical specifications (technical data sheets) of up to 100 suitable hardware components.
- Specification of minimum ICT equipment.
- Use the EM-Guidebook for the preparation and implementation of two 2-day introductory training workshops.
- Give advice to each of 20-30 pilot companies during the drafting, setting-up and operating of their own EEMon plans on site.

Description of project:
Expert advisory to pilot actions on the promotion of energy audits (EA) and energy efficiency (EE) improvement projects in Ukrainian industries.
Activities undertaken:
Envidatec GmbH was involved as a consulting firm and carried out the following activities:
- Development of energy audit guidebook as per the ISO 50002 standard type 2 audit.
- Development of a guidebook for the development of EE measures as per the ISO 50002 standard type 2 audit.
- On-the-job training of local auditors (conducting energy audits together with them).
- Workshops and trainings on using the developed guidebooks and conducting energy audits.
