Description of project:

Undertake Resource and Energy Efficiency Check (REC) for Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) partner company with complex material flows located in Egypt. The main aim of the project was to find energy saving possibilities and to develop sustainable energy efficiency projects which present an investment opportunity for DEG.

Activities undertaken:

• On-site energy audit and presentation of the main findings.
• Identifying main improvement opportunities and evaluations.
• Prepare the REC implementation plan with cost-benefit analysis.
