40 kWp PV Plant Powers Sustainable Businesses and Solar Charging Stations for E-Bodas and E-Cars – a dena RES project

Description of project:

Within the scope of this Deutsche Energie Agentur Renewable Energy Solutions Programme (dena RES) project, enPower.life Ltd. and Envidatec GmbH supported dena and the target company in the implementation of RES (Renewable Energy Solution) by installing in total 40 kWp PV plants, powering not only multiple sustainable businesses at the Nekosero shopping and lifestyle complex, but also a solar charging stations for E-Bodas and E-Cars.

Together with members of the press and television, and following an inspiring speech by the German Ambassador to Kampala, H.E. Matthias Schauer, the 40 kWp plant was ceremoniously inaugurated on November 14, 2024.

Activities undertaken:

• Commissioning of 40 kWp solar plant (1x 35kWp & 1x 5kWp)
• 3 x 11 kW Installation of solar charging stations
• Connection of the 5 kWp PV panel to solar charging station for E-Bodas
